Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use OKBuddy (okbuddy.cloud and the OKBuddy apps). By using OKBuddy you agree to them.

What OKBuddy does

OKBuddy is an assistant that helps you find and compare products, order from partner shops, book tickets and plan tasks. Answers are generated by AI and can be wrong, especially prices and availability. Always check the final price and details before you pay.

Orders from partner shops

• When you order from a partner shop, your contract of sale is with that shop. The shop sets prices, stock, delivery, returns and refunds.
• A cart with items from several shops creates a separate order with each shop.
• Online payments are made with OKBuddy Pay through Razorpay. They go to the shop's own payment account, or to OKBuddy, which pays the shop. An order is placed only once its payment succeeds. Cash on delivery is paid to the delivery partner.

Online stores

Links to Amazon, Flipkart and other online stores take you to those websites. Their own terms apply there.

Cashback

Cashback is credited to your OKBuddy wallet after a partner-shop order is delivered. It can be used on later orders, or transferred to your bank or UPI once your balance reaches the minimum shown in the app. Cashback on orders that are cancelled or returned can be reversed.

Your account

Keep your sign-in details private and give correct delivery details. Do not misuse OKBuddy, try to break it, or use it for anything unlawful. We may suspend accounts that do.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms. If we make important changes we will tell you in the app. Questions: support@okbuddy.cloud.

Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Your name, email, phone number and profile photo.
• Delivery addresses you save, and your location when you allow it, to show shops near you.
• Your chats with OKBuddy, and photos, documents or voice you choose to share in them.
• Your orders, cashback and payout details you enter for transfers.

How we use it

• To answer your requests, find products and shops, and place and deliver your orders.
• To share the details a shop and its delivery partner need to fulfil your order: your name, phone and delivery address.
• To send order updates and reminders if you turn on notifications.

Service providers

We use trusted providers to run OKBuddy, including Google (AI and sign-in), Sarvam AI (speech: turning what you say into text and reading replies aloud), Razorpay (payments), Shiprocket and couriers (delivery) and OpenStreetMap (maps). They process data only to provide their service.

When you talk to OKBuddy, the microphone listens only while voice chat or a video call is open, or after you tap a mic button. Each spoken turn is sent to Sarvam AI to be turned into text; OKBuddy does not keep the recording.

Payments

Online payments use OKBuddy Pay, our checkout page, with Razorpay as the payment processor. Card, UPI and bank details go straight from your device to Razorpay or your bank. OKBuddy never sees or stores your card number, CVV or UPI PIN.

Your choices

You can edit your profile and addresses, delete chats, turn notifications off and clear data on your device from Account. To delete your account, email support@okbuddy.cloud.

Health Coach and health data

Health Coach is an optional add-on. Nothing is collected until you add it in Account → Add-ons and agree.

What we collect

• The details you enter: goal, age, sex, height, weight, activity, food habits and any health notes.
• Your daily logs: meals and meal photos, water, workouts, check-ins, sleep and weight.
• Body-check photos (front and side) and the coach's notes about them. You can choose not to save the photos.
• If you connect Health Connect on Android: only daily steps, exercise (workout minutes) and weight. Steps fill your Steps tile and step goal, workout minutes count towards your daily workout, and weight fills your Weight tile, BMI and progress chart. OKBuddy only reads this data; it never writes or changes it. Sleep and heart rate are only what you type in or read from a screenshot of your watch.

How we use it

• Only to coach you: your plan, targets, feedback, progress charts, points and reminders.
• Photos and readings are sent to our AI provider (Google Gemini) only when you ask for an analysis, and only to create that answer.
• We never sell health data, never use it for advertising, and never share it with shops or other users.
• Our use of data from Health Connect follows the Health Connect Permissions policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Your control

• Delete any meal or body check at any time.
• Removing Health Coach (Account → Add-ons → Remove) permanently deletes your plan, logs, points and photos.
• You can revoke Health Connect access any time in Health Coach → Manage, or in your phone's Settings → Health Connect → App permissions → OKBuddy.

Not medical advice

OKBuddy is a fitness coach, not a doctor. Body-fat and calorie numbers are estimates. If you have a medical condition, are pregnant, or feel pain, dizziness or chest discomfort, stop and talk to a doctor.

My Story diary

My Story is an optional add-on. Nothing is collected until you add it in Account → Add-ons and agree.

What we collect

• Your daily vibe check: the mood you pick, the topics you tag and an optional one-line note.
• Your diary pages, typed or spoken. Voice notes are turned into text and the recording is not kept.
• Photos you add to your diary, with their captions.
• The recaps and monthly stories made from your diary, and your points, streaks and badges.

How we use it

• Only for you: titles and summaries for your pages, weekly recaps, mood insights, monthly stories and reminders.
• Your words are sent to our AI provider (Google Gemini) to write these. Photos are not sent to the AI; only their captions are.
• Your diary is not used in OKBuddy chat unless you turn that on, and never while your diary has a PIN.
• We never sell your diary, never use it for advertising, and never share it with shops or other users. Diary photos are stored privately and are only shown to your signed-in account.

Your control

• Edit or delete any note or photo at any time, and lock your diary with a PIN.
• Download your whole diary as a text file from My Story → You.
• Story videos are made on your device. In the Android app they pass through our server only to save them to your phone and are deleted within 24 hours.
• Removing My Story (Account → Add-ons → Remove) permanently deletes your diary, photos, stories and points.
